Esmat Karimi Wins Fellowship

Esmat Karimi has recently been awarded a $20,000 fellowship from the "American Association of University Women" (AAUW). which is a leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Esmat won the "International Fellowship" for international women who study at universities in the United States. This fellowship is for one year and will be used to join Esmat's co-advisor's lab at Harvard Medical School to do a part of her PhD thesis that is about gene discovery in inherited myopathies.
