Research Topic: Desiccation tolerance of soil Actinobacteria

Research Interests: Reading, the color yellow, being outside, asking personal questions, observing the weather, and hanging out with my dog Juniper. When not in the lab, I can be found googling coding errors and listening to the same song on repeat. I’m currently studying the desiccation tolerance of soil Actinobacteria. I am excited to get my hands dirty exploring the genetic mechanisms supporting adaptation to dehydration and rehydration in soil microorganisms.
