Research Interests: The molecular pathology of disease, understanding how disease manifests at the genetic level, how disease progression and treatment effectiveness are influenced by an individual's underlying genetic network, and identifying target genes/molecules for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Brenna hopes to build a career at the intersection of medical research, clinical diagnostics, and molecular genetics, executing robust and clinically relevant research to address the needs of patients in an increasingly complex healthcare system.
