This is a temporary page to pre-populate the image Carousel for the Genetics web site. Once you are ready, we can move the Carousel to the site's front page.

To add a new Carousel Item, do the following:

Overview of Genetics Focus Areas at
                                         The University of Arizona

This list is meant to be neither exhaustive nor exclusive, but rather to give prospective graduate students an understanding of the areas under research. For a complete faculty listing and more detailed research descriptions, as well as links to faculty web pages, see the Faculty page.

Graduate Admission Process

The Genetics GIDP recruits students through the Arizona Biological and Biomedical Sciences (ABBS)  program, which integrates recruiting and admissions for five PhD programs. Students are admitted to the ABBS with no formal commitment to a particular Ph.D program. Students are free to rotate in laboratories of faculty associated with any of the programs, providing maximum flexibility for students to explore various views of studies.
